Save on annual membership prices with English Heritage Membership discount codes

The biggest benefit of membership is getting into over 400 historic places up and down England for the price of one annual fee. Some of the many properties include gardens, castles and forts, abbeys and churches and Tudor buildings. But gaining access to properties isn’t the only benefit of English Heritage Membership. You can get your card for less when you use English Heritage Membership discount vouchers, but here are a few other benefits of signing up:

Free Child Entry – When you sign up for an adult membership of any kind, you can get free entry for up to six children, so long as they’re all under 18 years of age and are a part of the family group.

Reduced Entry Fees – Throughout the year, many English Heritage properties stage special events, with hundreds taking place every year. With your English Heritage Membership, you can benefit from reduced entry fees to those events, as well as getting in to some of them for absolutely free.

Free Parking – On any English Heritage site that owns their car park, you won’t have to worry about paying for parking, as free parking is just one of the many perks of English Heritage Membership.

Membership Pack – Once you sign up and everything is confirmed, all you have to do next is wait for your welcome membership pack to arrive through the post. Once you receive it, you’ll find that your welcome pack contains your membership card, a free annual handbook listing every property, a car sticker and a bookmark. With the family membership, you’ll also receive a children’s activity pack. You’ll also receive a copy of the Members’ Magazine for free four times a year and be able to take advantage of the Members’ reward scheme.

How do I use English Heritage Membership promotional codes?

They’re very easy to use. Just take a look at this quick little guide:

1. Choose which offer you’d like to claim.

2. Once you’ve decided, hit the ‘Get Code’ button next to that specific offer.

3. Up will open a pop up box. Click where it says ‘Reveal & Copy Code’ so that the code is copied to your clipboard ready for pasting.

4. In a new tab, the English Heritage Membership site will open up. Go there to select which membership option you want to purchase.

5. Once you’ve selected your membership type, input all your details on the first screen and confirm them.

6. Once you get to the payment section, paste your code into the box marked ‘Promotions’. Hit ‘Apply Code’, and it will be applied to your order provided that the code is still in date. Your order total will also be updated.

Sometimes, a ‘Get Offer’ button is seen next to a deal instead of a ‘Get Code’ one. This is because the offer is already on their site, so no code is required. Simply hit the button to be taken to the English Heritage Membership site to claim your discount.

What is their Refunds Policy?

If you’ve recently purchased English Heritage Membership and you’ve changed your mind on it, you’ll have 14 days after receiving your membership pack in which to cancel. If you wish to do so, you should contact their customer service team at the earliest opportunity. If you’ve used your membership card to gain access to English Heritage properties, you will still be eligible for a refund, but you’ll have to pay for the entry fees of any visited properties. The 14 day grace is only available on memberships applied for over the phone or online. If you’ve passed the 14 day timeframe, no refunds are available and any outstanding balances have to be paid in full. If you merely wish to amend your membership type, then the customer service team will be happy to help when you get in touch with them.

Your Need to Know Guide to Getting English Heritage Membership

Individual – The cheapest of the four options, you’ll still have all the benefits of all the other membership types. It’s the best if you like exploring and visiting places on your own. For adults, prices are £63 a year (£5.25 monthly); or £55 a year (£4.58 monthly) if you’re 65 or over. If you are a young adult or have an NUS card, you could pay as little as £4.08 a month, or £49 a year.

Family – For a family of one adult, prices will come to £63 a year or £5.25 a month, which is the same as the individual adult price, as both come with free entry for 6 children. The other option is the family of two adults, which is £109 a year or £9.08 monthly. That also comes with an additional 6 free child entries, allowing a total of 12 children to gain free entry to English Heritage properties. Also, if you select the family option, you’ll also receive a children’s activity pack in your welcome package.

Joint – For a joint membership for two adults, it’ll come to the same price as the two adult family option, albeit only allowing free entry for 6 children instead of 12. For two adults 65 or over, it’ll be £84 a year (£7 monthly) and for one adult under 65 and a senior, it’ll be £96 a year (£8 monthly).

Lifetime – If you decide to make that leap from annual membership to lifetime, then you can contact the English Heritage Membership team to upgrade you. In addition to your current membership benefits, you’ll also get free entry for you, an adult guest and up to six children to English Heritage, Historic Scotland, Cadw and OPW Heritage Ireland properties. You can also get free entry to all English Heritage daytime events for you and an adult guest or two children. And if that wasn’t enough, you can also get 10% off when you book one of their holiday cottages. Lifetime membership will cost £1460 for an individual adult and £1140 for someone aged 65 or over.
