What’s Hometree’s Cancellation Policy?


If you decide you no longer want to continue with their care package, then you can cancel if you’re within 14 days of the contract start date. In this time, if you haven’t arranged a call out, you can instantly cancel your contract and receive a full refund. If you are within the 14 days but have arranged a call out, or you’ve moved past the 14 day cooling off period, then contact their customer service team and they’ll talk you through all the cancellation options available to you.

Your Need to Know Guide to Shopping at Hometree


Boiler Care Plan – The most basic cover package is their boiler care plan. Every one of their plans includes the option to pay monthly or annually (with the annual payment plan being 5% cheaper) as well as a choice of callout fees: £0, £60 and £95. Whichever one you decide will be reflected in your quote total. Included in the boiler care plan is an annual boiler service, cover for the gas supply pipe and 15% off the price of a new boiler if they can’t fix yours.

Heating Care Plan – The heating package includes everything in the boiler one plus cover for your wider heating system; namely radiators, cylinders and pipes.

Home Care Plan – This package is their most comprehensive. As well as including everything the boiler and central heating care plans do, it covers: plumbing and water supply pipes, the unblocking of drains and waste pipes, and the mains electrical wiring system (plug sockets, fuse boxes, circuits and light fittings).

Gas Fire Protection – If you have a fire that operates with gas, you can add that on to any policy, albeit for an additional charge. Cover for a year includes all repairs to the gas fire, the flue (including a flue terminal up to one metre in length) and an annual service. However, if fixes aren’t possible the cover doesn’t include the cost of a replacement, nor do they cover any gas fires without a flue.
